Recipients of the Al Engel Science, Technology, and Engineering Scholarship, each receiving $3,000, were Gabriel Longenecker and Navya Vysyaraju. Gabriel, the Class of 2026 Salutatorian, and Navya have both demonstrated outstanding achievement in academics and leadership while pursuing interests in science, technology, and engineering.
The Moyer Business, Arts, and Humanities Scholarship, also valued at $3,000, was awarded to Pranati Jammalamadaka, the Class of 2026 Valedictorian. Pranati's academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to service have distinguished her throughout her high school career.
All three scholarship recipients have been active participants in Souderton Area High School's Interact club, Rotary’s service club for young people, and have attended several of our meetings throughout their high school years. Their involvement reflects a shared commitment to Service Above Self and community engagement.
These scholarships underscore Rotary’s dedication to investing in the next generation of leaders. The club extends its sincere gratitude to Kelli Scarlett, chairperson of the Scholarship Committee, and the other committee members whose time, dedication, and thoughtful review process help make these awards possible each year.
We congratulate Gabriel, Navya, and Pranati on their remarkable accomplishments and wish them continued success as they begin the next chapter of their educational journeys.
