The leadership team of the our Club is proposing an important change to our meeting schedule beginning in July 2026.

Under the proposed plan, the club would move to meeting on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at Broad Street Italian Cuisine and Pizzeria.

This proposal comes after thoughtful discussion surrounding the rising costs associated with meeting weekly at Indian Valley Country Club. While the club greatly values the experience and hospitality we have enjoyed there, the increasing weekly meeting costs are becoming cost-prohibitive for some current members. Additionally, the expense can present a challenge for potential new members, particularly those who do not have a business or employer covering the cost of attendance.

Under this proposed format, members would order and pay for their own food and beverage selections directly to the restaurant each meeting night. The leadership team believes this approach could provide greater flexibility and affordability while still preserving the fellowship and connections that make Rotary special.

The leadership team believes this proposed change could help make Rotary more accessible, affordable, and sustainable for both current and future members, while continuing to provide meaningful fellowship, service opportunities, and engaging programs.

We encourage all members to share their thoughts and feedback with any current Board Member. Open discussion and member input are important as we consider this potential transition.

This proposal will also be discussed at our upcoming Board meeting on Thursday, and we welcome everyone’s participation in the conversation as we plan for the future of our club.
