Our recent Rotary meeting was a wonderful celebration of the global impact of Rotary and the lives it touches around the world.

As her exchange year in the United States comes to a close, Rotary Youth Exchange student Sarah di Lis shared reflections on her experience, highlighting the friendships she has formed, the cultural experiences she has enjoyed, and the personal growth that comes from living abroad. Her presentation served as a powerful reminder of Rotary’s commitment to fostering international understanding and goodwill through youth exchange programs.

Members also heard from fellow Rotary Member Steve Kendra, who presented on Rotaplast International, an organization that provides free reconstructive cleft lip and palate surgeries to children in developing countries. Steve shared inspiring stories of the life-changing impact these medical missions have on children and their families, demonstrating how Rotary members are making a difference far beyond their local communities.

Together, the presentations showcased the extraordinary ways Rotary builds bridges across cultures, transforms lives, and creates hope around the world. It was an inspiring meeting that reminded us of the power of service and international friendship.
